We are thrilled to announce that the XVI Vilnius Gospel Festival will take place on November 9-10! The festival has been organized almost for twenty years by YWCA-YMCA Lithuania. We can’t wait to see you at the concerts (see bellow).

16:30 – GOSPEL MUSIC CONCERT in Vilnius Bernardine Church.
Participants: Jazz Chorus from the Lithuanian Academy of Music & Theatre (lead by Marija Monika Dičiūnė) and the Joint choir of Klaipėda region Rising Souls. Rythm band lead by Tomas Dičiūnas. Free entrance.

21:00 – DUBLIN GOSPEL CHOIR CONCERT
The Dublin Gospel Choir are probably the only act in the world to collaborate with artists as diverse as Duran Duran, John Legend, Riverdance, Rod Stewart, Outkast, Take That, The Dubliners and Kodaline to name a few. They have also performed with the legendary composer Ennio Morricone on two of his Irish tours. Over the last 20 years, they have amazed audiences all over Europe with a brilliantly adaptable repertoire of songs.
Formed in 1995 as a junior school choir in inner city Dublin, they have grown to perform at an average of 100 events per year, and are the only act to play on The Main Stage, every single year, at Ireland’s most famous festival, The Electric Picnic.
Following their very successful performance at the Klaipeda Jazz festival in 2017, the Dublin Gospel Choir are delighted to be back, and to perform again in Lithuania – in the Vilnius Gospel Music Festival 2019 programme. Featuring your very own singing star Raimonda Masiulytė-Ramchurn.
